Some of the jewels we sell are real quartz crystals.  Quartz can amplify the sun's rays, so should be kept away from inflammable surfaces and out of direct sunlight.  Some crystals, such as Rose Quartz, will also fade in sunlight.  We recommend all crystals are placed out of sunlight within the home.
